Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr has partnered with Omaze, a site which raises funds for non-profit organisations through online auctions, to launch Random Act Funding, a new philanthropic fund.

Random Act Funding aims to 'distribute kindness in the form of financial support at a local, national and global level', and Downey Jr is inviting people to donate and become founding members, with the chance to win a number of prizes when they donate $10 at www.omaze.com/rdj. Prizes include tickets to a screening of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, a photoshoot with Downey Jr, and flights and a hotel stay in New York.
